SZ1A CQ WPX SSB 2025

We’re thrilled to announce that SZ1A will participate in the upcoming CQ WPX SSB Contest 2025 on March 29-30, 2025 – arguably our most favorite contest of the year!

Known as the second-largest annual amateur radio contest, second only to the CQ World Wide DX Contest, the CQ WPX SSB Contest challenges operators worldwide to contact as many different prefixes as possible. The contest offers intense competition, excellent propagation opportunities, and the chance to connect with fellow radio amateurs across the globe.

Don’t forget to read the official contest rules to learn more about the format, scoring, and entry categories. They may be found here: https://www.cqwpx.com/rules

SZ1A is the largest contest station in Greece, highly active and dedicated, regularly achieving impressive results and fostering teamwork, technical excellence, and camaraderie among its members.

This year we’re particularly excited to try out our new antennas and receiving arrays designed for the low bands. The entire team is committed to working hard to achieve a strong score and our best-ever ranking in this prestigious contest.

We will be participating in the Multi-Two (M/2) category and encourage all amateur radio operators to call us on the air. If you hear us, don’t forget to spot us on the clusters – every bit of support counts!
